The Cerebellum Directly Modulates the Substantia Nigra Dopaminergic Activity

The authors showed, in mice, that cerebellar projections to the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) form monosynaptic glutamatergic synapses with dopaminergic and non-dopaminergic neurons in the SNc.
