GATA6 Is Predicted to Regulate DNA Methylation in an In Vitro Model of Human Hepatocyte Differentiation

By examining changes in the transcriptome and the methylome using an in vitro hepatocyte differentiation model, the authors showed putative DNA methylation-regulating transcription factors, which were likely involved in DNA demethylation and maintenance of hypo-methylation in a differentiation stage-specific manner.
