Therapeutic Development for Canavan Disease Using Patient iPSCs Introduced with the Wild Type ASPA Gene

Scientists differentiated the wild type aspartoacylase (ASPA)-expressing patient iPSCs into NPCs and showed that the resultant ASPA-Canavan disease NPCs exhibited potent ASPA enzymatic activity.
