Differentiated C2C12 myotubes were treated with lipopolysaccharide to induce activation of the nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome with and without MCC950, a pharmacological inhibitor of NLRP3-induced IL-1β production.
