Glucose Promotes Regulatory T Cell Differentiation to Maintain Intestinal Homeostasis

The authors showed that while glucose at a high concentration promoted intestinal inflammation, it suppresses colitis at a moderate dose, which increased the proportion of intestinal Treg cells but did not affect effector CD4+ T cells.
