Loss of Full-Length Dystrophin Expression Results in Major Cell-Autonomous Abnormalities in Proliferating Myoblasts

Researchers made the first discovery of convergent abnormalities in primary mouse and human dystrophic myoblasts. They found satellite cell defects in Duchenne muscular dystrophy with myoblast dysfunction affecting muscle regeneration due to myofiber instability.
