Scientists explored the role of connexin 43-Gap junctions during peri-induction blood pressure fluctuation and elucidated the underlying mechanisms by pretreating human umbilical arterial smooth muscle cells with short-term Angiotensin Ⅱ to simulate transient contraction and dilation of vascular smooth muscle cells during anesthesia induction.
