BRPF1 Bridges H3K4me3 and H3K23ac in Human ESCs and Is Essential to Pluripotency

The authors showed that BRPF1, a multi-histone binding module protein, was essential for pluripotency in hESCs. BRPF1, H3K4me3, and H3K23ac substantially co-occupied the open chromatin and stemness genes in hESCs.
