Scientists showed that bardoxolone methyl inhibited nuclear factor-κB ligand-induced osteoclast formation and ECM degradation by activating the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathways and inhibiting NF-κB pathway activation and excess reactive oxygen species production.
