SREBP2 Maintains Glioblastoma Stem Cells through Keeping the Balance between Cholesterol Biosynthesis and Uptake Get Access Arrow

Researchers investigated the adaptive behavior of glioblastoma stem cells under different cholesterol supplies. In vitro and in vivo loss-of-function genetic and pharmacologic assays were conducted to evaluate the effect of Sterol Regulatory Element-Binding Protein 2 (SREBP2) on glioblastoma cholesterol biosynthesis, proliferation, and self-renewal.
