By single-cell RNAseq, investigators showed that MYC/NICD “rejuvenated” the adult mouse cochlea by activating multiple pathways including Wnt and cyclase activator of cyclic AMP, whose blockade suppressed cochlear hair cell-like cell regeneration despite Myc/Notch activation.
