Scientists discovered that the loss of YTHDF2 in Treg cells reduced tumor growth in mice, and that deletion of Ythdf2 in Tregs did not affect peripheral immune homeostasis, but led to increased apoptosis and impaired suppressive function of Treg cells in the tumor microenvironment.
