MU Researcher Awarded $2.17 Million in Uterine Lining Research

Dr. Andrew Kelleher, assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at the University of Missouri School of Medicine has been awarded a five-year, $2.17 million grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to study the ability of cells in a women’s uterine endometrial lining to regenerate in a manner similar to stem cells.
