Melatonin as a Therapeutic Agent for Alleviating Endothelial Dysfunction in Cardiovascular Diseases: Emphasis on Oxidative Stress

Based on bibliometric studies, the authors first discuss the relationship between oxidative stress-induced endothelial dysfunction and cardiovascular diseases, then summarize the role of melatonin in the treatment of atherosclerosis, hypertension, myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, and other cardiovascular diseases.
