Scientists investigated the role of YAP during the hematopoietic differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) to hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells and erythrocytes using the isogenic YAP-overexpressing and YAP-depleting hiPSCs to eliminate the effects of a genetic background variation.
