Human Interleukin-12α and EBI3 Are Cytokines with Anti-Inflammatory Functions

Scientists demonstrated that IL-12α and EBI3 were stable proteins in isolation that acted as anti-inflammatory molecules. Both reduced secretion of proinflammatory cytokines and induced the development of regulatory T cells.
