Scientists investigated the effect of angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) protein in PDAC survival. They did so by comparing the associaton between circulating Ang-2 using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and the pancreatic tumor expression of Ang-2 using immunohistochemistry.
