Comparing HD Knockin Pigs and Mice Reveals the Pathological Role of IL-17

By performing RNA sequencing to compare the gene expression profiles between Huntington’s disease (HD) knockin pigs and mice, researchers found that genes related to interleukin-17 (IL-17) signaling were upregulated in the HD pig brains compared to the mouse brains.
