Scientists presented a strategy to generate liver organoids (LOs) containing Kupffer cells by recapitulating fetal liver hematopoiesis using hiPSC-derived erythro-myeloid progenitors, the origin of tissue-resident macrophages, and hiPSC-derived LOs.
