Prognostic Value of Inflammation and Immune-Related Gene NOD2 in Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma

Researchers identified 59 upregulated inflammation- and immune-related genes (IIRGs) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. Among the upregulated IIRGs, nucleotide binding oligomerization domain 2 (NOD2), PYD and CARD domain (PYCARD) were also confirmed to be upregulated in the Oncomine database and in three independent GEO data sets.
