New $2 Million Research Initiative Will Study Heart and Brain Health in People With Autism

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 36 children and 1 in 45 adults in the US have autism, a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication.
