A research team from the LKS Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) has developed ‘Bionic Liver-in-Cube: A Comprehensive Precise Theranostics for Liver Cancer and Diseases’. Using 3D bioprinting, it can mimic the liver tumr of patients for rapid evaluation of the efficacy and side effects of various traditional drugs and emerging therapies.
