Researchers investigated the potential non-pyroptotic mechanism of action of gasdermin D (GSDMD) in preventing prostate cancer (PCa) immune evasion. They revealed a novel non-pyroptotic pathway through which GSDMD inhibits PCa immune evasion by targeting laminin subunit gamma-2 (LAMC2) for degradation.
