Researchers analyzed by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry the lipidomic signature of exosomes derived from the human cell lines normal colon mucosa, and colorectal cancer (CRC) non-metastatic and metastatic, as well as exosomes isolated from the plasma of non-metastatic and metastatic CRC patients and healthy donors.
