Lactate Promotes Metastasis of Normoxic Colorectal Cancer Stem Cells through PGC-1α-Mediated Oxidative Phosphorylation

The abundance of hypoxic and normoxic CSCs was analyzed in primary colorectal cancer tumors. It was found that the proportion of normoxic CSCs was positively associated with tumor stage.
