B Cell Antigen Receptor Expression and Phosphatidylinositol 3-Kinase Signaling Regulate Genesis and Maintenance of Mouse Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

By ablating the B cell antigen receptor in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells from TCL1 transgenic mice, the authors showed that CLL cells cannot survive without BCR signaling and are lost within eight weeks in diseased mice.
