Biomedical Engineering Researcher Awarded Grant to Study Chronic Skin Fibrosis

Wuertz-Kozak recently received more than $400,000 from the Congressional Directed Medical Research Program to investigate new therapeutic approaches for scleroderma, a chronic autoimmune disease that involves overproduction of collagen, also referred to as fibrosis.
