Study Examines Role of Arterial Stiffness in Disease

A University at Buffalo researcher has been awarded a National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute grant to explore how changes in arterial stiffness elicit vascular smooth muscle cell behaviors that contribute to cardiovascular disease.
