Cell Circuits between Leukemic Cells and Mesenchymal Stem Cells Block Lymphopoiesis by Activating Lymphotoxin-Beta Receptor Signaling.

Using mouse models of acute lymphoblastic and myeloblastic leukemias, researchers showed that leukemic cells turn-off lymphopoiesis and erythropoiesis shortly after colonizing the bone marrow.
