Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity of Novel Copper Complexes Containing a β-Carboline Derivative and Amino Acids

The antitumor activity of two novel copper(II) complexes containing a β-carboline derivative and amino acids against lung cancer cells, cervical cancer cells, and breast cancer cells was significantly superior to that of the traditional antitumor drug, cisplatin.
