Isolation of Porcine Adult Cardiomyocytes: Comparison between Langendorff Perfusion and Tissue Slicing-Assisted Enzyme Digestion

Using adult Bama minipigs, scientists performed cardiomyocyte isolation via two distinct methods, and compared the resulting cellular quality, including viability, cellular structure, gene expression, and electrophysiological properties, of cardiomyocytes from three distinct anatomical regions.
