Chitosan Hydrogels with MK2 Inhibitor Peptide-Loaded Nanoparticles to Treat Atopic Dermatitis

A cell-penetrating mitogen-activated protein kinase–activated protein kinase-2 (MK2) inhibitor peptide YARA was loaded into hollow thermo-responsive pNIPAM nanoparticles, which were further incorporated into chitosan hydrogels to promote local drug delivery, improve moisture and the anti-inflammatory activity.
