TrkB Inhibition of DJ-1 Degradation Promotes the Growth and Maintenance of Cancer Stem Cell Characteristics in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Researchers demonstrated that TrkB was significantly upregulated in highly metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells and HCC patients. The increased TrkB levels were significantly correlated with tumor stages and poor survival of HCC patients.
