Group 3 Innate Lymphoid Cells Exacerbate Lupus Nephritis by Promoting B Cell Activation in Kidney Ectopic Lymphoid Structures

Using MRL/lpr lupus mice and a nephrotoxic serum-induced lupus nephritis model, investigators demonstrated that group 3 innate lymphoid cells accumulated in the kidney migrated predominantly from the intestine.
