BLK Positively Regulates TLR/IL-1R Signaling by Catalyzing TOLLIP Phosphorylation

Scientists showed that B lymphoid tyrosine kinase (BLK) positively regulated TLR/IL-1R–mediated inflammatory response. BLK-deficient mice produced less inflammatory cytokines and were more resistant to death upon IL-1β challenge.
