Investigators developed a multi-lineage, fully-integrated, cardiovascular organ chip that could enhance human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-endothelial cell and hiPSC-cardiomyocyte functional and genetic maturity, model endothelial barrier permeability, and demonstrate long-term functional stability.
