RNA Scientist Receives Federal Funding to Commercialize Molecular Tool against Alzheimer’s Disease

University at Albany scientist Scott Tenenbaum has received $500,000 from the National Institute on Aging to study how aging brain cells shape the progression of Alzheimer’s disease, and advance RNA technology that could inform new therapeutics to prevent and treat Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
