Evolution of T Cells in the Cancer-Resistant Naked Mole-Rat

Using single-cell transcriptomics, researchers found that that naked mole rats had a large circulating population of γδT cells, which in mice and humans mostly reside in peripheral tissues and induce anti-cancer cytotoxicity.
