Duchenne UK and PPMD Award $500,000 to Evaluate Safety, Tolerability of Muscle Progenitor Cells in Phase I Trial

Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD) and Duchenne UK announced the recipient of their Joint Call for Therapeutic Projects. Professor Peter Kang MD, from the University of Minnesota Medical School, has been awarded the grant for his research project titled “Phase I clinical trial of myogenic progenitors for DMD.”
