The authors demonstrated that addition of a commonly used anti-epileptic, valproic acid to low dose bezafibrate and medroxyprogesterone acetate (BaP) enhanced killing of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cell lines/primary AML cells to levels similar to high dose BaP.
