Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cells Improve Survival from Sepsis by Boosting Immunomodulatory Cells

The authors hypothesized that the inflammatory environment of Group A Streptococcus infection drove rapid hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell (HSPC) differentiation and depletion that can be rescued by infusion of donor HSPCs.
