The authors report, the astrocyte-derived secreted lipocalin Glial Lazarillo , a homolog of human Apolipoprotein D, and its neuronal receptor, the brain-specific short isoforms of Drosophila lipophorin receptor 1, cooperatively mediated neuron-glia lipid shuttling and support dendrite morphogenesis.
