20show%20that%20Ambra1%20deficiency%20confers%20accelerated%20tumor%20growth%20and%20decreased%20overall%20survival%20in%20Braf%5C%2FPten-mutated%20mouse%20models%20of%20melanoma.%20Also%2C%20we%20demonstrate%20that%20Ambra1%20deletion%20promotes%20melanoma%20aggressiveness%20and%20metastasis%20by%20increasing%20cell%20motility%5C%2Finvasion%20and%20activating%20an%20EMT-like%20process.%20Moreover%2C%20we%20show%20that%20Ambra1%20deficiency%20in%20melanoma%20impacts%20extracellular%20matrix%20remodeling%20and%20induces%20hyperactivation%20of%20the%20focal%20adhesion%20kinase%201%20%28FAK1%29%20signaling%2C%20whose%20inhibition%20is%20able%20to%20reduce%20cell%20invasion%20and%20melanoma%20growth.%20Overall%2C%20our%20findings%20identify%20a%20function%20for%20AMBRA1%20as%20tumor%20suppressor%20in%20melanoma%2C%20proposing%20FAK1%20inhibition%20as%20a%20therapeutic%20strategy%20for%20AMBRA1%20low-expressing%20melanoma.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%222021-05-05%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22en%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.1038%5C%2Fs41467-021-22772-2%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%222041-1723%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%5C%2F%5C%2Fwww.nature.com%5C%2Farticles%5C%2Fs41467-021-22772-2%22%2C%22deleted%22%3A1%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%22DUPVZUHA%22%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222021-05-05T18%3A03%3A45Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
