Using multiple preclinical models of neoantigen-expressing pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC), scientists demonstrated that intratumoral neoantigen-specific CD8⁺ T cells adopted multiple states of dysfunction, resembling those in tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes of PDAC patients.
