Breast Cancer Circulating Tumor Cells with Mesenchymal Features — an Unreachable Target?

The authors review the clinical significance of mesenchymal circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in breast cancer together with statistical analysis of previously published data, in which they assess the suitability of a number of methods/markers used for isolation of CTCs with different epithelial-mesenchymal transition phenotypes.
