Secreted NF-κB Suppressive Microbial Metabolites Modulate Gut Inflammation

Researchers identified five Clostridium strains that suppressed immune-mediated NF-κB activation in epithelial cell lines, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and gut epithelial organoids from healthy human subjects and patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
