Scientists revealed that TβRI‑TβRII‑Fc chimeric receptor suppressed the epithelial‑mesenchymal transition program in melanoma cells in vitro induced by any of the three TGF‑β isoforms, as revealed by decreased expression of mesenchymal markers.
