Researchers showed that the single-cell landscape of peripheral immune responses is reprogrammed in thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) and characterized by monocyte shift to an intermediate type along with complement activation, perturbation of plasmablast composition, and highly exhausted T cells.
