Mesenchymal Stem Cells Protect against Acetaminophen Hepatotoxicity by Secreting Regenerative Cytokine Hepatocyte Growth Factor

MSCs were comparable to N-acetylcysteine against acetaminophen (APAP)-induced liver failure by secreting hepatocyte growth factor with less regenerative retardation concerns, thus facilitating the application of MSCs in clinical therapy for APAP liver failure.
