Exposure to Cadmium Induces Neuroinflammation and Impairs Ciliogenesis in hESC-Derived 3D Cerebral Organoids

The authors identified that cadmium exposure specifically induced apoptosis in neurons and inhibited the proliferation of neural progenitor cells, but neural differentiation was not significantly affected in cerebral organoids.
